Coming Back For More
The first release on Delux Grooves comes in the form of the vocal house track "Coming Back For More".
Four mixes are being released as download, CD single and a two track vinyl sampler featuring the Dominguez Funk mixes.
Whilst the label itself is a new venture, it is part of the powerhouse label group that is Recoverworld. With a history going back to 1994 with Eve Records and with over 20 labels under their belt across a variety of genres, a reputation such as this should not be ignored.
The writing pedigree on this is is also second to none. Dom Sweeten brings the grit to the table and is the man responsible for both the co-production and the Dominguez Funk mixes. With a background in labels and releases that include Spinball, Kaktai, Nukleuz, OD404, Base Grafitti to name a few, he is a producer that drips quality.
Add to this Chris Hampshire, an experienced producer with over 100 commercial releases under his belt whose cross-genre appeal is backed up by releases on Tommy Boy, Baroque, Blackhole and Discover and whose tracks have been remixed by artists as diverse as Satoshi Tomiie, Tiesto and Tony De Vit.
The final ingredient is Nikita, one of the best vocalists in the business. She has worked with the likes of Tiesto, K90 and John 00 Fleming and always delivers.
The release itself starts with the Original Mix which delivers a wicked groove, fantastic vocal, cool summer vibe and as you would expect is probably the most commercial of the bunch. The "Dominguez Funk" mixes are dirty housers and it is these that make the vinyl release. Finally "Jack Floyd and the Others" bring their Italian flair to the table and deliver a very well produced interpretation of the theme.
